Colin Hanks
Tom Hanks' and first wife Samantha Lewes' eldest son, Colin Hanks, was born in 1977 and has unmistakable similar looks and an indistinguishable voice to his father.
Colin had already moved out when Tom’s career took off. He lives in Studio City, California, with his wife, publicist Samantha Bryant, and their two daughters, Olivia and Charlotte.
Colin’s Career
Colin’s filmography spans over 25 years and 60 credits, from his breakout role on "Roswell," to recurring appearances on "Dexter," "Mad Men," and "Fargo."
He says he has struggled with imposter syndrome, explaining, "I'm just now getting to a point where I've found a way to be able to [...] be comfortable with myself and my work."
Elizabeth Ann
Elizabeth Ann Hanks, the second child of Tom Hanks and Samantha Lewes, was born in 1982. She’s a writer and editor who goes by E.A. Hanks in her bylines.
Elizabeth Ann attended Vassar College after a year abroad at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She graduated with a bachelor’s in English and literature in 2005.
Elizabeth Ann wasn't bitten by the acting bug like the rest of her family but has done some voice acting, producing, and acting roles, including two of her dad's movies.
In "Forrest Gump," Elizabeth Ann played the "school bus girl" that wouldn't let Forrest sit next to her, and in "That Thing You Do!" she was credited as "bored girl in dress shop."
Chester Hanks
Rita Wilson's first child and Hanks' third, Chester "Chet" Hanks, was born in 1990 and uses the stage name Chet Haze in his television and music career.
Chet has mixed feelings about the highs and lows of growing up as the son of a famous couple. He now lives in Santa Monica and shares a daughter, Michaiah, with Tiffany Miles.
