Ruth has worked as a freelance writer for almost a decade, writing for outlets such as Science Connected, HelloGiggles, Women's Agenda, and Modern Trekker. As a newly graduated social worker, she focuses on empowering others to heal from trauma and improve their emotional well-being. Ruth joined Alb Media in 2021 as a news writer for Health Digest, eagerly applying her grad school learning to exciting content on mental health.


Ruth graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in English, and she later returned to the same university for her Master of Social Work degree.
