Why Rami Malek Thinks Prince William Really Liked No Time To Die

Prince William and Kate Middleton were all smiles as they attended the premiere of the new James Bond film "No Time To Die" last week. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were dressed to impress as William wore a black tux and Kate stood out in a stunning gold dress, per People Magazine. The pair were joined by William's father, Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Although the stars came out for the highly anticipated premiere, which was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, royal expert Chris Ship revealed that the Cambridges added some extra buzz to the event.

"The whole world is watching, everyone's been waiting for this much-delayed premiere because of the pandemic and actually, you know there are times you think what's the point in these royals turning up but they really did give it some pizzazz," Ship said (via Express). Producer Lizzie Robinson also gushed over the royals' appearance at the premiere, calling out Kate in particular for her attention-grabbing ensemble. "I mean there was some real star appeal there and I think led by the Duchess of Cambridge who looked absolutely phenomenal in gold," Robinson said. "I mean she made the front page of every paper in that amazing Jenny Packham gown."

It seems that the royals made a big splash in the media as well as with the stars of the film. Actor Rami Malek recently opened up about attending the premiere with the Cambridges, and what they thought of the movie.

Rami Malek kept a close eye on Prince William during the premiere

According to E! Online, Rami Malek was happy to share the spotlight with Prince William and Kate Middleton at the "No Time To Die" premiere. The Oscar winner admitted that he enjoyed seeing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, at the event. "Meeting the royals of course, it was rad. I have to say that," Malek said. "I met William, Prince William, Your Royal Highness Prince William, Princess Kate and Prince Charles of course at the BAFTAs and to see them again, it was fun, like meeting old friends actually," he confessed.

However, Malek's favorite part of seeing the royals at the premiere may have been watching them enjoy the film. "I sat right behind them in the royal box," the "Bohemian Rhapsody" star said. Malek also admitted that he was watching William's body language throughout the movie and believed that the prince thoroughly enjoyed it. "I was watching Prince William's reaction. You can see a lot from what someone's body language was doing. I think they loved the film. That was the impression I got."

Prince William is a known movie buff (via Honey), so watching the screening of the film was likely a thrill for him. Of course, fans will have to wait until October 8 to see the new James Bond flick in theaters. However, it appears that Prince William approved.
